Kung fu panda 2

Wow ..  just saw the trailer of  Kungfu Panda  2 ..looks  good ..but just hope its better as or more than the 1st part ... thats the  thing in  movies  the  2nd part dont do really that well as the 1st part .. the  one Movie I   remember doing well as a 2nd  part is T2 ..Why  do  movies flop  or not do so  good as the 1st part ??
